  Guidelines

  1.  Be courteous at all times.  Anything can be said if done so diplomatically. With this in mind, realize that the GMs or person running the current plot may approach you with questions in regards to your character, either to fix something or to find out information needed in order to come up with a plan of action for something requesting or needing to be done for the game.

2.  Any personal grievance you may have with another player should be aired on the feedback form.  It will not show who's sent it, so assures privacy to the GMs.

3.  Any issue that you feel is urgent, email newdesitnies.casesATgmailDOTcom & we'll do our best to resolve it.

4.  If for any reason you will not be able to post for an extended period of time, let us know via the OOC board.  If you want your character temped and know who you want to do so, let us know that also. Of course there may come times that you aren't available and we need to temp the character in order to get the game moving again. No offense to you but this is a group of writers and the we have to keep things moving at some kind of regular pace.

5. Any questions about plot progress, characters, member status, or about the group in general should be addressed to the OOC board but because of instances in the past we do understand if you contact directly.  If that is the case it will still be handled and answer found.  If you are a writer and approached with questions about posting, character or asking if something is up bare in mind we're just doing our job. clarification: if you have a problem, concern or objection about what another writer is doing contact the GMs directly (via email).  Do *not* post on the OOC/OCC list, as this is more along the lines of personal grievances.

6.  There are some that do not wish for their characters to be written for in other works outside of the gaming group.  To respect that wish if you should need any character that isn't your own please ask the gamer/writer.  For those that already have an agreement on who can use your player you can either shoot either of us a note or just carry on.  If you feel your character has been used without permission, please feel free to contact us to have it rectified. With that said, should a member resign or otherwise not be able to continue to write, writings that are a part of the group will be archived on the site but the (non-cannon) character will not be written for past that point which the character is written out in a timely manner that flows with the game.  Any and all artwork that includes the character in it during the time that the writer was an active member will also be archived but not be included in artwork past that time which the writer's membership is no longer active.

7.  Plenty of ways have been created and are here for anyone to say what they feel they need to say off of the gaming group.  I don't mean to be rude but this is a rule I, myself, am writing (Skylar) and it's simple.  Please do not use the gaming group to air your grievances.  To do so, after giving you every other possible way of contacting me (and the Moderator) will be seen as being deliberately disrespectful to the game in general and each player specifically.  It will result in immediate removal from the gaming group until a decision has been made concerning the nature of the outburst and unless a goooooooooooood reason could be brought up on why you did it, in 99.999% instances will be perm.  Note: Some OOC's concerning the moderator/owner fixing posts or along those lines are the OOCs we should see on the gaming group.

8.  If a person goes AWOL for a period of time that is felt to interfer with the game's progress then we reserve the right to write for that character to follow the storyline and, if not further needed in the game for storyline purposes, to write him/her out of the game in a nuetral position until such time as a decision is made in regards to the writer. If a person has more than one character and writes more for a certain one or other characters than another, the writer or writers will be asked about it.  Again remember it's our job to keep things going smoothly. If it ends up that there's a burn out possibility going on with a character arrangments can be made for someone else to temp the character or, if the writer wishes it, take over the character so that they can enjoy writing for characters they aren't feeling passively about.

9. HAVE FUN!
