| Meloyan's have by nature very strong minds normaly they would use their abilities for telepathy. They also have the ability to shield their own minds. This race makes ecellent counselors, and doctors. Their empathy allows them to know exactly where a person is hurt and with the right training how to fix it. Wynter found out early exactly how their pheromones were used for and was sickened by it. Instead of being trained to use her pheromones to help others, her mother choose to use them to her own advantage. Wynter, moved to the Medical Prime where her abilities will be trained to help others. When she came of age, or on her planet they referr to the time as her first choosing, she transferred to Vulcan to attend their Science Academy, where she graduated second in her class. Upon graduation she was then given the chance at her first choosing as most Meloyn's always came back to their own planet, she choose to look to the stars and entered Starfleet academy. She attended her classes and excelled in most of them, however, the Meloyn's physical make up is not one that works well with hand to hand combat. Their bones are less dence than a human's making them fragile creatures. Their only hope of survival in a combat situation is their own mental ability to cushion any blow they take. Wynter excelled in hand weapons and small bladded weapons as a form of self defence When she was fifteen years old she performed one of the ancient rituals on the eve of her "First Choosing". The results of this ritual changed her life, as she was showen in the smoothness of the waterfall the likeness of her Star Mate. Needless to say, her first choice was to attend Starfleet Academy, after her stay on Vulcan, much to her mother's chagrin. Wynter's mother had always expected great things of Wynter. It is a planetary custom that at a certain age the children then begin to care for their elders. Her mother, Michasa had wanted to teach Wynter how to take care of her in the manner in which she had become accustomed. When Wynter moved to Medical Prime her mother was livid. Now, at least six years later Michasa has never gotten over what she precieves as her daughter's betrayal of her. Wynter, found the man whose likeness she saw six long years ago on the eve of her "First Choosing". Wynter's first post was the U.S.S. Challenger on which she was promoted to Ltjg, and Chief Medical Officer. Her happiness was short lived however, when she found that she was being transferred to the U.S.S. Invincible-A where she would serve under a new Captain As it turned out, the new Captain of the USS Invincible-A was none other than the Commander from the USS Challenger. The one man who was the exact likeness of the image she'd seen as a girl in the waterfall. Captain Richard I Stabler She gave birth to her first child, Andrew Richard Stabler, aboard the USS Invincible. She and Captain Stabler were married on Earth Andrew, now two years old, is a handful to say the least. Curisous about everythning it seems that he can be into everything at once
