| Background:
| His parents having been part of the Ornaran government, Taron grew up slightly better off than the majority of his race. At the age of 16 he and his parents, suspecting that the plague that afflicted their race was nonexistant, made their way off Ornara aboard a barely functional freighter that had been bought from the government when it was determined that the vessel would no longer be sufficient for the transport of felicium from Brekkia. The vessel was able to make its' way to establish a standard orbit around Koralis, the warp drive magnetic coil failing immediately upon arrival.
The family of three remained aboard their freighter, in orbit of Koralis, for a week when they were rescued by the New Maquis vessel MFS Vincennes. The family was able to quickly incorporate themselves into the crew of the New Maquis vessel and became trusted crewmembers themselves. Taron was even able to become the chief helmsman of the formerly Federation Ambassador-class vessel.
When the MFS Vincennes docked at the neutral base of Empok Nor, Taron made the decision to leave the crew and become an independent freight hauler. He makes his runs from Empok Nor and the newly commissioned Federation Starbase 86.

| SS Free Trade:
|  The Free Trade was, at one time, an Ornaran freighter that was used to transport goods between the worlds of Ornara and Brekka, in the Delos system. Under Ornaran registry, its primary purpose was to transport the cargo of felicium from Brekka to Ornara.
In 2375, the Free Trade was sold to Taron's parents and they used he craft to leave Ornara. Taron continued using the Free Trade for his own purposes after the death of his parents.
