| Born to Alexis and Marcus McClellan on Alpha Centauri, on January 1st 2361, Andrew was raised amongst a family of merchants, who discouraged him from joining Starfleet. He was raised in a very loving home until he wanted to join Starfleet.
His uncle Adrian McClellan had been assimilated during the Borg battle at the Typhon Expanse, and they didn’t want to lose another family member to the same type of incident.
His family went so far as to lock him in the house during the summer he was first eligible to apply, but their attempt failed when his friend Kregan Dermit snuck the forms into him.
Andrew McClellan was already a second year student at Starfleet Medical Academy, and was already helping at the medical station at the academy when he met Leslie. She had been in there several times for injuries related to her extreme hobbies, and he eventually got the nerve to invite her to a group gathering.
Jax, Gholston, McClellan, and Carnegie became great friends, so when they were all assigned to the same ship, they didn’t care that it was in a sector of space not known.
They were all assigned to the USS Spirit, when a request for replacement personnel was filed. |
