| Subject is singleminded to a fault -- usually his own. Also has strong hatred for Cardassians because of their occupation of his homeworld. In the past he has often resorted to violence when hearing anyone refer to the Prophets as "Wormhole Aliens." However, since serving six months on Starfleets' Deepspace Nine, he has learned to TOLERATE it.

| Korel Res was born in the Dakaar Province on Bajor in the Earth year 2343.

| Background:
| Korel has spent the majority of his adult life as a Resistance Fighter trying to get the Cardassian Occupation Forces off of his home planet. He was captured by the Cardassians early on and transferred to the Gallitep Labor Camp where all Bajorans present were later freed when the Shakaar Resistance Cell liberated that camp.

| Starfleet Service Record:
| He has not served with Starfleet, but as stated before he was assigned to station Deepspace Nine as a security officer under the command of Station Security Chief Odo for six months then requested reassignment as security of, then newly elected, First Minister Shakaar where he has stayed until the present.

| Current Assignment:
| On the orders of First Minister Shakaar himself, Res has been assigned to station Empok Nor under command of the Security Chief of that station. Has since been promoted to Chief of Security of Empok Nor. With the approval of Captain Tenna, Korel also brought in ten other Bajoran security deputies and thereby given the Bajoran Militia a foothold on Empok Nor.
