| Personality:
|
Ariana is a very quiet, reserved individual. She is not one to form friendships quickly, but once she has, she sticks
to them. People she does not form a relationship with she generally stays away from. Her quietness has not been shown
to hinder her performance as an officer. Even if she is not totally comfortable around someone socially, professionally
she is normally fine, just quiet. Also, the fact that she is quiet has made her more observant. She notices details most
people don’t. She frequently “lends an ear” to her friends. She understands that just talking about
something can often help. She also has a tendency to run late.

| History
|
|
|
Ariana was born on Earth, in what used to be known as the state of Florida, though she has not spent much
time there. Her parents, wanting her to have the best possible education, sent her
to boarding schools in California. She thrived in the small, academic atmospheres, though her
days spent there were not devoid of fun, either. The schools encouraged a love of the outdoors, and it was on
a mandatory school activity that she discovered her love of hiking and camping. It was
also on the beaches of California, during excursions with friends, that she discovered Rollerblading.
Not many people chose the old sport, but for some reason, she and her friends have enjoyed it for a long time.
She still maintains contact with several of her school friends, some of which have also gone into Starfleet.
She has also had her share of scrapes and bruises of the years, the most serious being her nearly fatal
fall off the face of Yosemite’s Half Dome during her first, and last, attempt at rock climbing.
She also fractured an arm during a game of Parises Squares that she was cajoled into participating in.
While at home, her parents did everything they could to enrich Ariana and her brother James.
It was his dutiful attention to his daughter, and his never-ending influence, that inspired her to become
a doctor like him. Her brother prefers the more artistic nature of their mother Iris, though Ari
did take up the piano. Ari cherishes the time she has to spend with either of her parents. She
has a calling toward the stars that the rest of them lack. It was this calling that compelled her
to apply to Starfleet Academy, with her parents blessings. She was accepted, and entered the Academy
at 17.
After the Academy, Ari applied to, and was accepted by, Starfleet Medical. Both her parents cried
when she achieved the title of "Doctor." After she graduated, she was assigned to the USS Spirit,
out of Empok Nor.

StarFleet Record
|
|
|
Ari’s Starfleet record is quite clean, save for a few reprimands for being late. That tardiness was not
only her fault, but caused by several members of her quad. Her ability, and want, to listen made her very
popular with patients. Ari’s service record is only beginning as she has just been given her first post,
Chief Medical Officer of the USS Spirit
