Her parents, Janev and Dani were killed in a shuttle accident while she attended college, that was quickly covered up by those who do not exist in the starfleet realms. They were scientists and very proud of the work that their only child accomplished. She was born and raised on Earth and knows only a scant bit of the Meloyan language. Something bothered her about the accident that killed her parents and it seems like when she is about to uncover the truth she is handed a story that distracts her from it. Someday, she has vowed to find out what really happened to her parents.

Background

Felicia attended grade school, and high school in San Francisco, focusing on Journalizm and worte several pieces for the high school newspaper. She went on to attend the University of Southern California and covered human interest stories for the college paper. When she achieved her degree in Journalizm there was a job waiting for her at the Los Angelis Daily News. The only place they would put her, unfortunatly was the socitey section. Try as she might they would not recognize her for her ability as a reporter. The last straw came when a story was published that she had been investigating on her own. It was under someone elses by-line and when she checked her own notes, she found that they had been stolen. When a reporting position opened up in San Francisco Tribune, she jumped at it. Her break into investigative reporting was sudden and sad though. Being one of the survivers of the Breen attack on Earth her position sealed her into an investigative position. How you might ask? She was in San Francisco at the time and her parents had worked with Starfleet. It was there that she first heard of the Federation News Network and with her past accomplishments, she applied and was accepted. The galaxy was a vast expance, surely there was news out there to be told.

Starfleet Rank:

Lieutenant Commander(ret.).
